Bowie

Bowie, Arizona

St. Cloud’s Bowie chabazite (a zeolite mineral) property is located 125 miles east of Tucson, Arizona and about 13 miles north of Bowie, Arizona, in both Graham and Cochise Counties. Bowie Chabazite has unique chemical and physical properties that allow for cation-exchange, gas adsorption, and water absorption/desorption – making it ideal for numerous industrial and environmental end-use applications. The Bowie Chabazite mined at this location is transported to our Winston plant for processing into coarse and fine powders. For some specific applications, the ore is further milled at toll processors to manufacture thermally activated or chemically modified products.
